How It Works

With parent coaching, I offer consultation and ongoing support for parents and other caregivers. Please contact me so I can share with you what I’ve learned through my extensive training, 20 years of clinical work, and my personal experience. The job of a parent is always hard, but together we can find ways to make it easier and to reclaim your joy in parenting!

I currently offer several options for parenting coaching sessions. Please contact me for pricing.

Problem-Solving Session

A single 90-minute session helps you come up with new approaches and potential solutions to a specific challenge you're facing in your family.

Here are some examples of parenting and family challenges we can

work through:

  • Negotiating blended families after remarriage

  • Introducing a new baby to the family

  • Adjusting to caring for elderly parents or an ill family member

  • Becoming an “empty nester”

  • Conflict with in-laws

  • Young adult children's "failure to launch"

Length: 90 minutes

Co-Parenting Session

This 90-minute session is intended to help you and your co-parent work together better. This session can be helpful for partners who need to resolve their differences in parenting styles, or for former partners who are no longer living together but are committed to finding new ways to keep all members of the family happy and thriving.

Length: 90 minutes

The Coaching Package

Ongoing parenting coaching sessions help you develop your own toolbox of parenting skills. With this six-month plan of monthly coaching sessions, you will learn skills that you can continue to refer to as you face new situations as a parent. We will focus on the developmental stages of your children, as well as understanding the specific role you play in your relationship with your children as a result of the experiences you had growing up. As a result, you will better understand your family dynamics and be able to reset your family system to be warm and joyful again.

Length: Six months of monthly sessions, each 60 minutes long

Relationship/Family Counseling

These sessions are intended to dramatically improve the quality of any of the meaningful relationships in your life. These sessions can be helpful for committed romantic couples, families, adult siblings, friends working through issues in their relationship, or any other relationship with challenging dynamics. Also recommended for newer couples embarking on their lives together, whether preparing for marriage or any other significant commitment. We will improve your communication, enhance your sense of mutual respect, and nurture your compassion for each other.
